In 2018, we launched a five-year longitudinal study – the Attitudes to Sustainability Surveys. Over the last few years, these citizen science surveys have produced some very interesting results, showing the change in the attitudes of both youth and adults towards sustainability, the climate and our shared future.

In the last report, we saw a rise in eco-anxiety in the young people completing the survey, an increase in youth telling us they aren’t sure what to do, or how they can make an impact for their future. Our work at SEEd directly tackles this issue, and the results published in our SEEd Young Changemakers 2024-25 Evaluation Report showcase this. Find that report here.

Collaborating with Dr Katy Wheeler at the University of Essex has allowed us to develop an in-depth report exploring the responses to our latest Attitudes to Sustainability Survey period – 2023-2025.
