Beachwatch is the Marine Conservation Society’s beach cleaning and litter surveying programme through which hundreds of people across the country hold beach cleaning events every year. September is the month of the Great British Beach Clean and they are urging as many people as possible to get involved. PECT

PECT are currently looking to fill two vacancies: Project Coordinator and Marketing Officer, and Project Officer. Both of these roles will include work on their new Blueprint project, which aims to initiate the new policies, strategies and approaches required by local authorities to unlock sustainable and inclusive growth opportunities through the transition to a circular economy. The Project Officer role will also provide support across other projects such as Eastern New Energy. Both positions are full time, based at PECT’s offices in Peterborough, and will involve working with colleagues in PECT and with local communities and councils. The closing date for both positions is the 27th of September 2020. 

RSPB

RSPB are looking for an Assistant Warden to join their nature reserves team on the Exe Estuary in Devon to assist in coordinating and delivering a range of busy programmes across multiple sites. Work across a diverse range of natural sites, and work with volunteers, residents, contractors, and other wildlife professionals. This varied role will include working with and supervising volunteers, surveying wildlife and habitats, supervising contractors, delivering hands-on habitat management, and carrying out estate maintenance. Closes 1st October 2020.
