About the Educator Changemakers CPD Webinar Series

The SEEd Educator Changemakers CPD Webinar Series is designed for teachers and leaders, and based on decades of practice and research. Each session is expertly crafted by the SEEd team to empower individuals like you to support youth in developing the green skills and competencies they need to effect change for sustainability, both now and in the future.

We introduce the facilitation techniques, learning approaches and theories championed in our successful Changemakers programmes, and dive into the methods you can integrate into your practice and work to enable better collaboration and create sustainability change.

Each session is designed to give adults working with young people an introduction to the methods used in SEEd’s Changemakers programmes, enabling them to build agency, wellbeing and action in students.

Over 7 sessions, the SEEd Team cover a range of topics, expertly curated from over 17 years of experience, and requests from our previous programme participants. We cover:

  1. Practical tips to engage young people in sustainability for agency and wellbeing
  2. Learning and teaching for sustainability and climate action
  3. Systems thinking for sustainability
  4. Action learning and facilitating students
  5. Dealing with difficult conversations, misinformation and how to better communicate
  6. Futures thinking, green careers and competencies
